The Utah Energy Efficiency Working Group is a newly formed task force whose objective is to
identify and remove barriers to the development of energy efficiency in Utah.
Stakeholders
include representatives from federal, state and local governments, utilities, renewable
energy advocates, solar power industry, environmental organizations, landowners, and
other entities interested in the adoption of energy efficiency in Utah.

Objectives:
- To
increase general awareness of energy efficiency
- To
identify issues/barriers to development of energy efficiency
- To
identify potential actions to advance deployment of residential and
commercial energy efficiency technologies

Membership:
The Utah Energy Efficiency Working Group is open to all interested parties. Invitations
are extended to representatives from key organizations,
businesses, industry, local governments and agencies, and individuals interested
in the deployment of energy efficiency technologies in Utah. Anyone interested in energy efficiency in Utah is welcome to join.
Meetings:
The working group meets quarterly or as appropriate. Most meetings will be
held in Salt Lake City and hosted by a member organization, but meetings
may be held in other locations in the state.
