Utility Regulatory Advocacy

Utah Clean Energy advocates before the Utah Public Service Commission, adding a voice for energy efficiency and renewable energy. 

Utah's energy future is shaped, in part, by the decisions made in the regulatory arena. 

We advocate for the development of clean energy help to reduce the economic risks associated with fuel price volatility and have other advantages including economic development, energy security, and environmental benefits.

We participate in Utah Public Service Commission proceedings, including activities associated with PacifiCorp’s Integrated Resource Plan, the Demand Side Management tariff, and the Energy Efficiency Task Force.

We work to bring in other key constituents to the public input process, such as leaders of rural areas to effectively represent the diverse interests in utility resource acquisition decisions.
