Million Solar Roofs

Utah Clean Energy is working with Mayor Ross C. Anderson and Salt Lake City staff to reduce the financial barriers to rooftop solar units through participation in regulatory proceedings.

Activities on the project are performed within a partnership between Utah Clean Energy, Rich Collins, Westminster College professor and former Utah PSC Chief Economist, and Salt Lake City staff.

Project highlights include:

25-kilowatt grid-tied Solar PV demonstration project on the Salt Palace Convention Center Expansion
Solar PV Buy-Down Pilot program included in Rocky Mountain Power's upcoming rate case.
