The U.S. House of Representatives approved legislation Tuesday that deals with installing hydropower on the Diamond Fork System of the Central Utah Project.

By a vote of 232-188 the House moved forward a bill that would spur development of hydroelectric power in the Diamond Fork System, a pipeline that moves water from Strawberry Reservoir to Utah and Salt Lake counties.
